Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about FCME, how it works and how your organization can connect.
General Information
FCME’s present work is supported through specific financial and in-kind contributions. The Abuja activities have an approved project budget administered through SIM, but FCME is not a SIM programme, grant-making body or general funding programme. Participation does not guarantee financial assistance.
FCME does not yet have a board or permanent legal structure. During this initial period, the Steering Committee guides strategic direction and boundaries, while the Working Group develops, tests and coordinates the work. Any longer-term structure will require a separate decision and meaningful Fulbe Christian participation.
FCME collects only the information needed for an agreed purpose and shares it on a need-to-know basis with appropriate consent. Names of vulnerable believers, precise ministry locations, persecution details and sensitive relationships should not be shared at the booth or through public forms. A safer private follow-up can be arranged.
FCME welcomes conversations with Fulbe-led ministries, churches, mission agencies, Christian networks, funders and technical specialists. Collaboration normally begins by identifying a genuine need and considering a small, clearly defined step with consent, appropriate safeguards and clear responsibilities. An initial conversation or workshop attendance is not yet a formal partnership or endorsement.
No. Lausanne Nigeria organizes the Congress and manages its programme, registration, fees and admission. FCME is a separate, emerging initiative participating through an official Congress session, a booth and its own evening workshop. The workshop RSVP is separate from Congress registration, and neither organization governs or speaks for the other.
